Playing with solid and transparency, House 99 places emphasis on creating a very consistent façade on all four sides. Juxtaposing openings with punched windows and protruding masses helps identify various moments within the house. Using a rotating grey brick pattern adds more depth to an already three-dimensional exterior.

Complementing the heaviness of the exterior structure, the spaces within the house are flooded with natural light provided by various courtyards embedded throughout. The stark difference between the outside and the inside accentuates the feeling of openness upon entering any room and gives life to the philosophy that merges nature with architecture.
