ALEEYA. design studio (A.) is a firm driven by evolution – evolution in spaces, in materials, in objects, and in light. We want not to follow any norm, but to carve our journey through thoughts, emotions, and diverse experiences. We use design as a means to evoke the senses, creating atmospheres, continuously experimenting with solid and void. We are a design house with an ethos driven by a desire to create movement in all aspects of design.
We want to shift further away from perfection, where only the “final” manifestation of any piece is shared with the public; instead we want to collaborate with our clients, our community, and our society by revealing the process of design. We thrive on nature in every sense of the word – natural materials, raw forms, organic landscapes. Our design ethos focuses on all that is pure, straight from the drawing board, precedents are all that we have, but our creativity takes on a new life in everything that we pursue.
Though we were born from a desire to emphasize the importance of minimalistic design in one of the world’s most chaotic cities, we want now to incorporate the chaos in certain elements of our design endeavors. As we work towards expanding its brand on a global scale, it wants to preserve its heritage as a South Asian enterprise.
The A. team takes its responsibility as designers very seriously, maximizing our potential and the potential of all the spaces and parameters that are presented to us in each moment.
In 2023, A. launched A* alittlemore studio, a multidisciplinary design studio blurring the line between art and design. The studios work in tandem as a design house, providing a holistic set of solutions to a range of clients.
Aleeya Khan
Founder & Principal
Born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan Aleeya Khan consistently attempts to merge her South Asian heritage and her foreign education to further improve developing cities through design. She completed her Master’s in Architecture from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation and her Bachelor’s in Urban Design & Architecture Studies from New York University.
Khan’s passion for entrepreneurship and desire to disrupt stigma’s around women-led practices in her region led to the creation of ALEEYA. design studio (A. and A* alittlemore studio). Through her exposure and deep understanding of technical design, her firms’ involvement in landmark project’s combined with a women-led team — Khan brings an alternate perspective and distinct identity, with a vision to leave a lasting impact on her region.

Anum Rashid Khan
Senior Technologist & Designer
With a Bachelor’s in Architectural Technology from Nottingham Trent University, Anum works with attention to detail and the compelling interplay between all the elements that make up architecture. With her multinational background, she finds great inspiration from heritage and culture and strives to always have a holistic and interdisciplinary way of working.

Rushaan Nabi Khan
Architectural Designer
A city girl at heart, Rushaan thrives in chaos. With a degree in Architecture and Planning from NED University of Engineering and Technology, she uses her learnings to understand spaces and create environments that nurture raw human emotions. Together with her morbid curiosity with life and death Rushaan strives to create spaces that are alive and inherently human. On a mission to create architecture that lives and breathes, Rushaan is learning to hone her skills and expand her horizons at A.

Dua Syed
Architectural Assistant
With a design and construction background from American University of Sharjah, Dua aspires to create conceptual spaces that exemplify meticulous attention to detail. Her architectural journey welds aesthetics and functionality, reflecting a seamless fusion of form and purpose. With an architecture degree and hands-on expertise, she skillfully merges the timeless with the contemporary, ensuring a coexistence between the existing and the modern in her creations.

Rabia completed her Bachelor’s in Interior Design from Lahore College for Women University. With a strong background coupled wit han enthusiasm for presenting architecture, her unique skillset enhavnces A.’s representational techniques and conceptual ideas. She is a local leader in the field of visualization and hopes to transform the companies vision in a multitude of ways.
